Apply to be on our team of Peer Advisors

Two of our Peer Advisors at Westfield Stratford City in December 2016

We’re looking to grow our team of volunteer Peer Advisors – we’re on the lookout for confident, enthusiastic young people to take part in our pilot project across three shopping centres in London. If you’re aged 16-25 and interesting in helping other young people, this is the opportunity for you.

The project is designed to raise awareness about child sexual exploitation and to research young people’s feelings of safety in public spaces. Peer Advisors will sign up to shifts across various shopping centres in London.

Sessions are delivered during school holidays (Half-term, Easter break, summer holidays). Each young person will be expected to attend three evening training sessions before becoming a Peer Advisor.

To apply:

  1. Read the Peer Advisor role description
  2. Fill in the application form, and email it to empower@saferlondon.org.uk

If you are interested, please fill in the application form by Monday 13 February at 5pm. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Reanne Turner on reanneturner@saferlondon.org.uk or 020 7021 0301.
