At Safer London so many of the Londoners we work with have had experiences of domestic abuse and violence.

So to show our stand on the 16 days of action against domestic violence we wanted to have our young Londoner VIP’s learn about, as well as review and evaluate, one of our services which supports Londoners affected by domestic violence and abuse.

The Pan London Housing Reciprocal is a scheme that supports social housing tenants affected by domestic violence and abuse through relocation. You can learn more about their work over the past three years here.

On the last day of #16daysofaction, our team behind the Reciprocal led on a workshop designed to gain the views of our VIP’s. With the intention of implementing and challenging the way we work and support those who access our services.

Below are some of the outcomes of the collaborative conversations that took place during the workshop.

Going forward we want to facilitate more discussion like this with our VIPs and teams across Safer London.

If you, or someone you know, are affected by or at risk of domestic abuse or violence – then call the 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247.
