Student placements and work experience

If you’re looking for a student placement or work experience then we can support you. Safer London is an excellent organisation for those seeking learning opportunities.

Due to the nature of our work and the services we offer, alongside our limited capacity, priority will be given to Student Social Workers and Student Psychotherapists/ Counsellors. In some circumstances we may offer placements to students undertaking other relevant courses such as Youth/Community Work and Criminology.

If you’re interested in a placement or work experience at Safer London, or are a Placement Co-ordinator at a University please contact us recruitment@saferlondon.org.uk

Safer London Young Leader

At Safer London we put young Londoners at the heart of everything we do. As part of this we are developing a group of Safer London Young Leaders, who will help to influence us as an organisation as well as across the city.

We’re looking for young Londoners who can lend their voices to conversations, to shape how we work and help us make the best decisions to help us achieve our mission.

As part of this voluntary work you will engage with our Senior Leadership Team, as well as other departments across the organisation including operations, communications, fundraising and internal resources. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the important work Safer London is doing across the city. Activities will vary and can range from anything from focus groups to speaking at events.

This is a long term voluntary position, with an expected level of engagement over a period time which is flexible depending on your personal cicumstances and needs.

If you’re interested in getting involved, or want to learn more please contact us at recruitment@saferlondon.org.uk
