Quiz for a Cause: Safer London Pub Night
We loved it! Was genuinely a really great quiz, the quiz master was really fun, nice pub too!
On Tuesday 1st October 2024, our local pub, The Crown on Blackfriars Road, transformed into a night of fun-filled trivia as we hosted our first ever Pub Quiz fundraising evening! With 50 people packed into the venue, teams gathered, drinks in hand, we had our knowledge tested on everything from cryptic tube station questions to medieval pop song covers.
The quizmaster kept the energy high with witty commentary and challenging questions, while the free IMAX and Everyman tickets added extra excitement to the night. The highlight was a surprise donation from our local coffee shop The Foundry - free bags of coffee beans and keep cups!
In the end, we raised a total of £726, which will go directly into supporting young Londoners who have experienced violence and exploitation. It was a fantastic evening that not only brought people together but made a real difference to the lives of young people in London.
