Training & Consultancy

For over 15 years, we’ve worked with children and young people at the point where harm has already shaped their lives.

This frontline experience means we understand the realities young people are navigating - and what meaningful, compassionate and impactful support looks like in practice.

The learning from this work - what supports safety, what builds trust and what reduces risk - underpins the training and consultancy we offer. We support organisations across the UK by providing specialist insight, reflective learning and guidance to strengthen how they respond to young people affected by harm.

Our areas of expertise

We offer learning, guidance and practice development in:

Young people affected by violence, crime and exploitation

We share frontline learning on how to engage young people experiencing serious harm and how to support safety, stability and recovery. This includes approaches to engagement, safety planning, reducing risk and working effectively with families and professional networks.

Trauma informed practice

We provide learning and guidance to help organisations embed trauma‑informed, child first approaches. This includes building understanding of trauma’s impact, developing relational practice, and creating spaces of safety and trust within each interaction, so children and young people feel heard and supported.

Contextual Safeguarding

We offer training and consultancy that helps teams understand and respond to the risks young people face beyond the home. This includes helping teams recognise where harm is happening in young people’s communities and online spaces, developing contextual safety plans and strengthening multi‑agency responses that focus on the wider context rather than blaming the child.

Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB)

We support organisations to develop strengths‑based, non‑judgemental and safeguarding‑led responses to HSB. This includes understanding the drivers behind behaviour, assessing risk and need and shaping responses that reduce harm, increase safety and support positive change.

Strengths based and relationship led practice

We help teams embed practice that places trusted relationships and young people’s strengths at the centre. This includes approaches that build connection, amplify young people’s voices, and support them to take safer, forward‑looking steps.
